3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base onto its foundational surface. Slide wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a precise level for the unit.
Position alternating wedge-shaped irons beneath the unit. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Each wedge must be
crafted and fitted by the user, tailored to the specific installation scenario. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for uniform contact on inclined
planes. Please remember, the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to meticulously check for perfect leveling. The unit must meet these stringent leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with keen accuracy. Prior to initiating alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Disable the main power supply to prevent any electrical mishaps;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield for clear access;
3) Take off the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling, allowing for better maneuverability;
4) Inspect the motor installation surface for any debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments to ensure flatness;
5) Verify that the motor bolt hole is adequately larger than the bolt to facilitate easy adjustments of the motor position;
6) Gather ample flat stainless steel gaskets to snugly support the motor feet. Avoid using long or thin gaskets that might compromise stability between the motor and the base.
7) Employ a highly accurate dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, sourced by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Equip the motor wheel hub with a mounting bracket for the dial indicator, positioning the probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines closely, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is within 0.05mm (with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and coupling end face deviation from 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then verify and fine-tune the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) After a successful motor idle test, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Following the meticulous adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation or trial run, release and retighten these bolts to ensure optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed rotating component. Any intrusion of solid or liquid matter could inflict irreversible harm to the compressor. Hence, it is imperative to ensure the cleanliness of both inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor, aligning with the steam corrosion grade specifications of the system. Pipelines that do not match these criteria require urgent rectification. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or a sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Mount the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes meticulously. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with pertinent pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. These pipelines should be independently supported by separate brackets, ensuring that their weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its ancillary equipment is meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidification, you can proceed to execute the operation test of the compressor. This ensures the system's readiness and unparalleled performance.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, install the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring that links the compressor to this control cabinet should be securely connected through a protective threading pipe, ideally routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, establish seamless connectivity by linking the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a streamlined, efficient operation.
