Its structure is an intricate assembly featuring a compressor body, which includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal, all meticulously designed for optimal performance. 3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base integrally on its foundation, ensuring stability by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath it. These shims are pivotal for leveling the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is level, secure the irons with a spot weld at 4 to 5 points. Note:
The wedges must be crafted and installed by the user according to site-specific needs. Ensure the contact surface is perfectly finished for uniform inclined plane contact.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Use a precision level to ensure accuracy. The leveling criteria are stringent: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before initiating alignment, ensure the following:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to guarantee safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield for unobstructed access.
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for debris and ensure a clean, unblemished surface.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolts to permit adjustment.
6) Stock up on stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor base. They must be flat and free from contaminants. Avoid using long, thin gaskets.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, which must be provided by the customer.
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted below.
9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub’s outer edge.
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centerlines. The outer circle deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center slightly elevated. The coupling end face deviation should remain between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Upon completion of adjustments, firmly tighten the motor foot bolts. Reassess both outer circle and end face runouts.
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling of the casing, securely fasten the anchor bolts. After initial mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure ongoing security.
3.3.5 The impeller rotates at high speed, so any foreign matter can cause significant damage. Maintain cleanliness of pipes connected to the compressor, complying with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require rectification. Consider installing solid-liquid separation devices, like gas scrubbers, before the inlet pipe for added protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install inlet and outlet pipes. Equip them with necessary pipeline accessories as specified in the PI diagram. Pipes connected to the compressor must have independent support, ensuring their weight is not borne by the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Upon the full installation of the main fan and its supplementary equipment, followed by the complete solidification of the concrete, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that all components are in perfect harmony, paving the way for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The meticulously designed electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically placed within a proximity of 5 meters from the compressor itself. To ensure seamless connectivity, threading pipes should be used for wiring, discreetly routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet has been positioned, it's essential to link the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust and reliable connection.
