3.3.1 Gracefully situate the compressor base fully upon the foundation, meticulously positioning wedge-shaped shims beneath to achieve perfect unit leveling.
Alternately place these wedge-shaped irons, ensuring flawless unit leveling, and then skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4~5 strategic points. Note:
the wedge should be crafted and applied by the user to suit specific needs, featuring a finished contact surface for seamless and even inclined
plane engagement. Ensure that wedge iron bears no more than 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain accuracy. The unit's leveling essentials include: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve coupling perfection by ensuring these prerequisites:
1) Disengage the main power supply for safety;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for pristine cleanliness, free from unwanted debris;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing for bolt adjustments for motor alignment;
6) Amass ample stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage—perfectly flat and free from attachments. Avoid inserting long and thin gaskets between motor and base;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter (accuracy: 0.01mm) as procured by the customer;
8) Assemble the dial indicator support bracket as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Deploy the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the hub edge, positioning the probe on the outer compressor wheel hub edge;
10) Adjust surrounding motor foot bolts to align compressor and motor center lines (follow instructions). Maximum outer circle deviation: 0.05mm (motor shaft center line should be slightly elevated above compressor low-speed shaft center line); coupling end face deviation: 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude by tightening motor foot bolts, then verify coupling outer circle and end face accuracy once more.
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section post motor idle testing.
3.3.4 Post alignment adjustments, secure the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation (or trial), release and retighten bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, must remain free of any solid or liquid ingress to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Ensure cleanliness and compliance with system steam corrosion grades for inlet and outlet pipelines. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate correction. It is highlyrecommended to integrate solid-liquid separation solutions (e.g., gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Integrate the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines incorporate necessary accessories per PI diagram specifications. The compressor must not bear pipeline weight; provide independent support.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete and the concrete base is fully solidified, you can proceed to conduct the compressor operation test. Ensuring a solid foundation not only guarantees stability but also enhances the efficiency and reliability of the compressor during its operational phase.
3.3.8 It is essential to position the compressor's electric control cabinet within a 5-meter proximity to the compressor itself. The wiring should be meticulously connected via a threading pipe that is laid underground to ensure protection and longevity. Once the electric control cabinet is properly stationed, carefully link the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines of the remote DCS, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
