MVR, which stands for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to dramatically reduce the necessity for external energy sources. By harnessing and reutilizing the secondary steam energy that it itself generates, MVR optimizes energy consumption. The essential operating principle involves utilizing secondary steam produced by the evaporator, which is then expertly compressed using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an elevation of both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heated secondary steam is then returned to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and initiating evaporation. This seamless cycle brilliantly recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, achieving an exceptional level of energy reuse and efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising of the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring it occupies minimal space while delivering optimal performance. Furthermore, maintenance is made remarkably convenient, allowing for trouble-free operation and longevity of the apparatus. This robust and efficient system is crafted to meet the needs of modern industries, streamlining processes with precision and reliability.
3.3.1 The compressor base needs to be perfectly positioned on the foundation with precision. Begin by placing wedge-shaped shims underneath the base. These shims are essential for achieving the ideal unit level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating manner. Once the unit is leveled to perfection, proceed to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring enhanced stability.
Craft and fit the wedge according to your specific requirements. The contact surface must be finely finished to ensure an even connection across the inclined plane.
Note: The wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Achieve impeccable accuracy using a level. The leveling precision for the unit is defined as follows: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring flawless performance.
3.3.3 The coupling requires precise centering. Before initiating alignment, ensure the following crucial prerequisites are met:
1) Safely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for any dirt, debris, or attachments, ensuring a pristine surface;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts, allowing for easy loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to solidly cover the motor's base. These gaskets must be free of any attachments and absolutely flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which is to be supplied by the customer;
8) Have the necessary bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for affixing a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and the motor center line meticulously, following precise instructions. Ensure the maximum outer circle deviation remains within 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and diligently verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for optimal operation.
12) Once the motor idling test is complete, re-install the coupling intermediate section for seamless integration.
3.3.4 Upon finalizing the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or trial runs, loosen and retighten the bolts for enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, demands strict protection from solid or liquid intrusions, which can inflict irreversible damage. Guarantee that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and fully compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any pipeline falling short of these standards requires immediate rectification. It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure import and export pipelines are fitted with the appropriate accessories according to the PI diagram. Support the connected pipelines with a separate bracket to prevent their weight from burdening the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has completely solidified, you can proceed to conduct the compressor operation test. This step ensures optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius for seamless integration. Ensure the cabling from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is expertly connected using threading pipe, ideally routed underground for enhanced protection. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, carefully connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the remote DCS lines to ensure efficient system communication and control.
