MVR, standing for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an ingenious energy-saving technology that dramatically curtails the necessity for external energy by ingeniously repurposing the secondary steam it generates. The core principle involves the compression of secondary steam produced by an evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated steam is then redirected back to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats materials, triggering the evaporation process once more. This cycle marvelously recycles the latent heat of vaporization, making MVR a sustainable and eco-friendly solution!
The DM series Single-stage Geard Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, encompassing a robust compressor body, a reliable coupling, a durable gearbox, a sophisticated lubrication system, a powerful motor, a precise electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Designed with a compact structure, this compressor offers exceptional convenience in maintenance, ensuring smooth and efficient operations every time.
3.3.1 Begin by expertly positioning the compressor base securely on its foundation. Strategically place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons and, once the unit is perfectly leveled, execute spot welding on 4 to 5 points for secure fixation. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances, ensuring a flawlessly finished contact surface with even engagement on the inclined
plane. Note that the wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to achieve impeccable leveling precision. The unit's axial level should meet superior standards of 0.05/1000mm, and its horizontal
level should attain an outstanding accuracy of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 For impeccable alignment, the coupling must be centered. Prioritize these essential requirements before embarking on the alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, grime, or attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed bolt size, allowing for easy adjustment of the motor by loosening the bolt;
6) Prepare an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot. The gaskets must be free of attachments and flawlessly flat, avoiding the use of long or thin gaskets for adjustment;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an exceptional accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for precision placement of a dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to perfection, with a maximal deviation of 0.05mm (ensuring the motor shaft center line is higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), coupling end face alignment of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts and re-evaluate the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for precision;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are impeccable, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, meticulously loosen and then retighten these bolts to reaffirm security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain free from solids or liquids that could inflict irreversible harm to the compressor. Vigilantly ensure the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine, aligning with the system's steam corrosion criteria. Insufficiently compliant pipelines demand immediate rectification. We highlyrecommend integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines must be equipped with pertinent pipeline accessories according to the PI diagram. These pipelines should be independently supported by a separate bracket, ensuring their weight is never borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Following the successful installation of the main fan and its accompanying equipment, and once the concrete base has fully solidified, we can proceed with the compressor operation test. This significant step ensures that all components are securely in place and ready for optimal performance, paving the way for a seamless operational experience.
3.3.8 For optimal proximity and efficiency, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The essential wiring that connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously installed using threading pipe, safely routed underground to ensure durability and protection. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, it is crucial to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a robust and reliable connection for seamless control and monitoring.
