Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by meticulously placing the compressor base on the foundation, ensuring stability with wedge-shaped shims underneath (crucial for unit level adjustments).
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons for optimal alignment. Once the unit is impeccably level, secure the wedges with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedges should be
crafted and installed with precision, tailored to the unique requirements of the user's environment. The contact surface must be finely finished to ensure seamless contact on the inclined
plane. Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not surpass 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a professional level to ascertain perfect balance. The unit's leveling criteria are rigorous: axial level precision at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal
level accuracy at 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Ensure impeccable coupling centering by adhering to pre-alignment checks:
1) Safely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Dismantle the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, grime, and attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size, allowing adjustments by loosening the bolts;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage, ensuring they are attachment-free and impeccably flat. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between motor and base for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm precision (provided by the customer);
8) Have the necessary bracket ready to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;

9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for securing a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) Achieve precise alignment by adjusting bolts around the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines (or as per specific instructions), ensuring a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (motor shaft center line should sit slightly above the compressor low-speed shaft center line), with coupling end face deviations between 0.03 to 0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and conduct a review of the coupling's outer circle and end face runout;
12) Refit the coupling intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of casing 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operations (or trial runs), loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotational component, is vulnerable to damage by any intruding solids or liquids. It is imperative to maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor, adhering to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines failing to meet these standards require immediate rectification. It is strongly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 When installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, adhere to the PI diagram for the installation of necessary pipeline accessories. Ensure the supporting bracket bears the pipeline's weight, not the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its ancillary equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached complete solidification, it's time to embark on the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This pivotal step is critical for ensuring the flawless performance and reliability of the Integrally Geared Steam Compressor with Comprehensive Speed Control from NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO.,LTD.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5m of the compressor. The wiring connecting the compressor to this control cabinet should be expertly threaded through pipes that traverse underground. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, ensure that the wiring terminals within the cabinet are meticulously connected to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), guaranteeing a harmonious and efficient operation of the entire system.
