Its fundamental brilliance lies in compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator. This is achieved using a cutting-edge, high-energy-efficiency steam compressor that masterfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. The outcome? An impressive increase in pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, allowing it to return triumphantly to the evaporator. There, it re-engages with the materials, inducing evaporation once more, hence ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.

It is intricately comprised of several pivotal components, including the compressor body—consisting of the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal—supplemented by the coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instrumentation. Together, these elements harmonize to deliver unparalleled performance and reliability.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base directly onto the prepared foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to precisely adjust the unit's level.
Carefully alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, perform spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedge should be
crafted and installed by the user according to the specific conditions on site. Ensure that the contact surface is finely finished, allowing for even contact on the inclined
plane. It's critical that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm

3.3.2 Employ a precision level to determine exact leveling. The unit's stringent leveling criteria are as follows: the axial level must reach 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level must achieve 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment of the coupling. Prior to initiating the alignment process, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Completely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation surface for any debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments, ensuring complete cleanliness;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes exceed the size of the bolts to facilitate loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to fully support the motor's footing. Gaskets must be flat and free from any attachments. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments;
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, both with a precision of 0.01mm, as supplied by the customer;
8) Prepare and use a stable bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the illustration below;

9) Employ a mounting bracket on the motor wheel hub to affix a dial indicator. The probe of the dial indicator should rest on the exterior edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Through careful adjustment of the bolts surrounding the feet of the motor, align the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circle's maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line remains slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face should align within 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Upon achieving alignment, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and double-check the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the intermediate section of the coupling.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment have been adjusted, securely tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical system undergoes operation or trial operation, it's advisable to loosen and retighten the bolts for maximum security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-velocity rotating component, must remain free of any solid or liquid contaminants, as their ingress could cause irreversible damage to the compressor. It is crucial to ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Any pipelines failing to meet these standards must be immediately rectified. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Execute the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes diligently. All import and export pipelines should integrate the necessary pipeline accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. Additionally, pipelines connected to the compressor must have independent support from another bracket, as the weight should not be supported by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its supporting equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, it's time to embark on the compressor's operational testing. This marks a crucial step in ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the unit, ensuring seamless connectivity. Utilize a threading pipe for the wiring, which should be skillfully routed underground for safety and aesthetic reasons. Once the electric control cabinet is securely set, proceed to connect its wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust and efficient communication link.
