The core principle involves compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a state-of-the-art, high-efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated temperature and pressure enable the secondary steam to be returned to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and induces evaporation. This cycle brilliantly achieves the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor boasts an impressively compact and user-friendly design. It primarily comprises the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This streamlined structure not only ensures exceptional performance but also makes maintenance remarkably straightforward and hassle-free.
3.3.1 The compressor base should be seamlessly placed on the foundation. For optimal stability, position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adjust the unit level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, carefully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points for secure attachment.
These wedges, crafted to perfection by the user based on the actual situation, should ensure an even and immaculate contact surface.
The inclined plane must evenly contact, and the wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level tool to achieve the perfect level. The unit's leveling specifications demand an axial level of a remarkable 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Coupling alignment is pivotal. Ensure all these preparatory steps are perfectly executed:
1) Switch off the main power supply completely;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, ensuring a pristine and unobstructed surface;
5) Ensure the motor's bolt holes are larger than the bolts to enable fine motor adjustments;
6) Adequately prep sufficient stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor foot. These gaskets must be flawless and flat, avoiding the use of long and thin gaskets for fine adjustments;
7) Either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an impressive accuracy of 0.01mm is required, sourced by the discerning customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator to the wheel hub's edge, precisely placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line to near perfection (or as per respective guidelines). The outer circle's maximum deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation at a minuscule 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout.
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post the motor idling test, ensuring flawless functionality.
3.3.4 After achieving impeccable "levelness" and alignment, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten for added assurance.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation is susceptible to irreversible damage from any solid or liquid incursions. It is imperative to ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines are spotless and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-compliance must be promptly addressed.Adding solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Meticulously install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring that import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. Note that these pipelines require independent support and should not rely on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supportive equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, the stage is set for initiating the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor needs to be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure a seamless connection, the wiring should be meticulously routed using underground threading pipes. Once the control cabinet is securely positioned, it's imperative to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet with the lines leading to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) for precise operational control.
