3.3.1 To seamlessly integrate your Versatile Steam Compressor with Frequency Conversion for Enhanced Efficiency, begin by placing the compressor's base integrally on its foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect levelness.
Place the two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is precisely leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons with spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by you, tailored to your specific conditions, ensuring that the contact surfaces are impeccably finished. This guarantees even contact across the inclined plane,
and that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve flawless balance. The unit's leveling prerequisites are as follows: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous care. Before commencing alignment, ensure these vital steps are followed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to guarantee a safe environment;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield cautiously;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment with precision;
4) Examine the motor's installation plane flatness meticulously, ensuring it is devoid of foreign objects, dirt, or residues;
5) Ensure that the motor's bolt holes exceed the size of the bolts for easy loosening and precise motor adjustment;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot. Ensure these gaskets are impeccably clean and flat, avoiding the use of long or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, prepared by you;
8) Have a bracket ready to support the dial indicator as depicted in the complementary illustration below;
9) Use the motor hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning a probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts until the compressor and motor center lines align, or follow specific instructions. The outer circle’s maximum permissible deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned above the compressor low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face should be 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test for optimal performance.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, steadfastly tighten the anchor bolts. After a trial or mechanical operation, loosen and meticulously retighten them to fortify stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a pivotal high-speed rotating component, is highly susceptible to damage from any infiltrating solids or liquids. Hence, it is imperative to ensure that the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Should any pipeline fall short, rectification is mandatory. It's stronglyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the relevant pipeline accessories align with the PI diagram specifications. Pipelines connected to the compressor must receive independent support to eliminate any undue weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its supportive equipment is successfully installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, you can proceed to conduct the compressor operation test. This ensures that all components are secure and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for efficient operation. To ensure a neat and safe setup, connect the compressor to the electric control cabinet using threading pipes routed underground. Once positioned, link the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS for seamless integration with your control systems.
