Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To ensure optimal performance and seamless integration, place the compressor base carefully on the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Align two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, perform spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points, securing them in place. These wedges should be
tailored and installed by the user, taking into account specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surface is flawlessly finished, ensuring even distribution of weight and load on the inclined
planes. Remember, the bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to confirm the unit's alignment. The leveling precision required is: axial leveling of the unit should be 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal leveling should achieve 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Proper coupling alignment is key. Before proceeding, ensure the following conditions are met:
1) Ensure the main power supply is switched off to prevent any electrical hazards;
2) Remove the coupling shield carefully for unimpeded access;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling for thorough inspection;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is immaculate, free from debris, dirt, or foreign attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts, facilitating easy adjustments during alignment;
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets to comprehensively support the motor's foot. Ensure gaskets are pristine and flat. Avoid using elongated or sparse gaskets that could compromise balance;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter (with 0.01mm accuracy) prepared by the client;
8) Have the appropriate bracket ready for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;

9) Position the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to hold a dial indicator, aligning the probe along the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centerlines. Aim for a maximum deviation of 0.05mm in the outer circle (with the motor shaft centerline positioned slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline), and maintain a coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm;

11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, then reassess the coupling’s alignment for any outer circle and end face runout discrepancies.;
12) After conducting a successful motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment of levelness, tighten the anchor bolts. It is crucial to re-tighten them after a mechanical trial operation to assure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed component. Unauthorized solid or liquid penetration can result in irreversible compressor damage. It is imperative to ensure connected inlet and outlet pipelines are flawless and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines demand immediate rectification. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, upstream of the compressor inlet.

3.3.6 When installing compressor inlet and outlet pipes, ensure all related pipeline accessories are in place as outlined in the PI diagram. Support the pipelines with independent brackets, ensuring they do not exert additional weight on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment, and following the complete solidification of the concrete, you can initiate the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures everything is in perfect working order, setting the stage for optimum performance.
3.3.8 For seamless and efficient operation, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure the wiring from the compressor to this control cabinet is meticulously connected using threading pipe, routed underground to maintain safety and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is properly stationed, establish a robust connection between the wiring terminals inside the cabinet and the remote DCS lines, ensuring flawless communication and control.
