Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by carefully placing the compressor base securely onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adjust the unit's level with precision.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points for enhanced stability.
The user should manufacture and install these wedges, tailored to the specific circumstances. The contact surface must be meticulously finished to ensure even contact across the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge should not exceed 40Kg/cm.

3.3.2 Use a precision level to ensure accuracy. The leveling criteria for the unit demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Make sure these exacting standards are met for optimal performance.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous care. Before commencing alignment, make sure to fulfill the following essential prerequisites:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section.
4) Verify that the motor installation plane is flat and free from any debris, dirt, or unnecessary attachments.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts themselves to allow for easy adjustments of the motor positioning.
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's feet, ensuring they are clean and perfectly level. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy. Customers should provide their own instruments.
8) Secure a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.

9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, placing its probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub for precise readings.
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centerlines closely. The maximum deviation for the outer circle should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft centerline slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline. The end face deviation should range between 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Once aligned, tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts to confirm precision.;
12) After conducting a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section with care.
3.3.4 Once the casing's level and alignment are adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts for maximum stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed component, any solid or liquid ingress can cause lasting damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the steam corrosion grade of the system. Rectify any pipelines that fail to meet these standards.
It is advisable to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to prevent contamination.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure relevant pipeline accessories are fitted according to the PI diagram. The pipelines must be independently supported; their weight should never rest on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the robust concrete has achieved complete solidification, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This pivotal stage ensures optimal functionality and performance, setting the stage for unparalleled efficiency in your processes.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure seamless connectivity, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be adeptly routed through threading pipes beneath the ground. Once the electric control cabinet is strategically positioned, carefully connect its wiring terminals with the lines at the remote DCS. This setup ensures a streamlined and efficient communication flow, vital for maintaining optimal operational control.
