The fundamental principle involves the secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, being compressed using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, subsequently elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The resulting increase in temperature enables the steam to return to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and induces evaporation. This cycle effectively recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, creating a highly efficient and sustainable energy loop.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This compressor is renowned for its compact structure, which not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also ensures ease of maintenance, making it a practical and efficient choice for industrial applications.
3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously placed on the foundation. Beneath the base, position wedge-shaped shims for optimal unit leveling.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons for precision; after perfect alignment, spot weld the wedges at 4~5 strategic points.
Users must craft and install the wedges based on actual conditions, ensuring finished contact surfaces for even engagement.
The inclined plane must achieve uniform contact, and the wedge iron's load capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve precise calibration. The desired leveling metrics: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure that the precision levels meet these exacting standards for optimal performance.
3.3.3 For precision coupling, adhere to these pre-alignment steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for access;
4) Verify motor installation plane flatness, ensuring absence of foreign objects or debris;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size, allowing for motor adjustments;
6) Secure an ample supply of flat, attachment-free stainless steel gaskets for motor support, avoiding inappropriate use of long, thin gaskets.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (to be prepared by the customer);
8) Assemble the bracket, as illustrated, to support the dial indicator effectively;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub bracket for dial indicator placement on the hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around motor feet for core alignment with minimal deviation: outer circle max 0.05mm, and coupling end face a tight tolerance of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten motor foot bolts and re-evaluate both outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for assurance.;
12) Post motor idling test, reassemble the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Upon successful adjustment of both 'levelness' and alignment, anchor bolts should be tightened. Post any mechanical operation, these bolts require a subsequent loosening and retightening for stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain free of solid or liquid intrusions to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure all pipelines linked to the compressor maintain cleanliness and adhere to steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines demand immediate rectification.Incorporation of solid-liquid separation devices (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before compressor inlet pipelines is recommended for optimal protection.
3.3.6 When installing compressor inlet and outlet pipes, ensure adherence to PI diagram specifications, and support pipelines independently of the compressor body to prevent undue stress.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supportive equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, you're ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This step is crucial for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.
3.3.8 The crucial electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For a seamless connection, the wiring should be routed through a protective threading pipe installed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is stationed, ensure that you connect the wiring terminals within it to the respective lines at the remote DCS for smooth and efficient operation.
