The elevated temperature allows the secondary steam to be channeled back to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials and induces evaporation. This closed-loop process not only optimizes the use of energy but also facilitates the continuous recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a masterpiece of engineering that primarily comprises the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure precise leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, execute a spot weld on the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 distinct points. These wedges should be
custom-crafted and installed by the user, according to the specific real-time situation, ensuring a perfectly finished contact surface for even pressure distribution on inclined
planes. The wedge iron must support no more than a maximum load of 40 Kg/cm2.).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve accurate leveling. The precision requirements are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for the unit.

3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is meticulously centered. Prior to alignment, verify these essential steps:
1) Deactivate the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, or any unwelcome attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, facilitating easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to secure the motor's footing. These gaskets must be devoid of attachments and sufficiently flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which must be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a supporting bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Position the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to install the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the dial probe sits on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By carefully adjusting the motor feet bolts, align the compressor and motor center line precisely (or refer to specific instructions), ensuring the maximum deviation on the outer circle is within 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be marginally higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face tolerances of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is achieved, securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the runout for both the outer circle and the end face of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, ensure the anchor bolts are firmly tightened. Following mechanical operation (or a trial run), loosen and re-tighten these bolts to ensure secure fittings.
3.3.5 Protect the integrity of the high-speed rotating impeller by preventing the entry of solids or liquids which could irreparably damage the compressor. Ensure all connected pipelines meet the steam corrosion standards of the system. Should any pipelines fall short of these standards, they must be promptly rectified. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. All import and export pipelines must incorporate pertinent pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. Support the pipeline connected to the compressor with an independent bracket, ensuring its weight is not borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its supplementary equipment, and once the concrete has fully solidified to ensure maximal stability, you are primed to proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step marks the transition from setup to operational excellence.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The electrical wiring should be meticulously connected through a threading pipe, securely routed underground to protect against environmental factors. Once the electric control cabinet is properly situated, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a streamlined and efficient setup.
