MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a groundbreaking energy-saving technology engineered to dramatically reduce reliance on external energy sources. It achieves this by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy it produces. The core principle revolves around the efficient compression of secondary steam generated within the evaporator. This is achieved using a highly efficient steam compressor that expertly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. The resultant increase in pressure and temperature of the secondary steam allows it to return effortlessly to the evaporator. Here, it plays a pivotal role in heating materials, facilitating evaporation, and thus enabling the recycling of the vaporization latent heat of secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel, meticulously designed to include key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This sophisticated assembly is characterized by its compact structure, ensuring it is not only easy to maintain but also optimally efficient in its operation.
3.3.1 The compressor base is meticulously positioned on the foundation. Wedge-shaped shims are strategically placed beneath the base to fine-tune the unit’s level. This careful placement ensures optimal balance and performance.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, proceed to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 critical points. These wedges shall be
created and positioned by the user, tailored to the actual installation scenario, ensuring smooth contact surfaces and even distribution of pressure across the inclined planes.
The wedge iron must robustly support loads not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit’s level. The unit's leveling standards require the axial level to be 0.05/1000mm, with the horizontal
level precisely maintained at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring peak operational efficiency.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling centering. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are meticulously completed:
1) Power down the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield for straightforward access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is impeccably flat and free from any obstructions, dirt, or foreign particles;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolts to facilitate easy loosening and adjustment;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets that are pristine and perfectly flat, avoiding elongated or thin gaskets for adjustment purposes;
7) Employ either a dial indicator or a highly accurate laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm), which should be procured by the customer;
8) Assemble the dial indicator support bracket as diagrammed below;
9) Use the motor hub mounting bracket to secure the dial indicator along the hub’s edge, aligning the probe on the compressive wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts near the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines for precision. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned slightly above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, maintaining end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then double-check the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling for precision.;
12) Post motor idling test, seamlessly reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment reach perfection, tightly fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and re-tighten these bolts to uphold structural integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller functions as a high-velocity rotating element, vulnerable to the intrusion of any solid or liquid, potentially inflicting irreversible harm to the compressor. Maintain pristine cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring compliance with the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines falling short of these criteria require immediate rectification. It is highlyrecommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the straight section at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipelines. Follow the PI diagram to attach the necessary pipeline accessories. Support pipelines with distinct brackets, preventing any load from transferring to the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its auxiliary components, is meticulously installed and the concrete base has reached full solidification, we are ready to embark on the thrilling phase of compressor operation testing, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The heart of the compressor's electric control system should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure seamless and secure operation, the interconnection between the compressor and its electric control cabinet should be executed through robust threading pipes, elegantly concealed underground. Upon securely situating the electric control cabinet, it is crucial to establish flawless connectivity by linking the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the remote DCS lines, creating a harmonious network for optimal functionality.
