The core principle revolves around the secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, which undergoes compression through a highly efficient steam compressor. This transformation is where electrical energy is seamlessly converted into thermal energy. Consequently, there is an elevation in both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This temperature increase allows the secondary steam to be channeled back to the evaporator, where it becomes a vital source of heat for materials, promoting evaporation. Through this method, the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam is expertly recycled, showcasing the pinnacle of energy efficiency and resource utilization.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising an integrated system that includes a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. Its design epitomizes a compact structure, ensuring that it not only fits neatly into various environments but also offers remarkable ease of maintenance. This streamlined architecture facilitates seamless operations, providing users with a reliable and efficient solution for their steam compression needs.
3.3.1 The compressor base is seamlessly integrated onto the foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precision leveling of the unit.
Alternately place two wedge-shaped irons, meticulously leveling the unit. Spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to secure them. The wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual scenario. The contact surface must be refined to ensure complete contact of the inclined
plane. Note, the bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain precise leveling. The unit's leveling criteria are: the axial level is 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level is 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these stringent measurements are adhered to.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous care. Before initiating alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from any debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, allowing them to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's foot. These must be free from attachments and impeccably flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets between the motor and base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (provided by the client);
8) Prepare the bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the illustrative figure below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By finely tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line diligently (or follow respective instructions), ensuring the outer circle's maximum deviation is 0.05mm (the motor shaft center must be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center), with coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are perfected, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation (or trial run), loosen and retighten them to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, demands protection. Any foreign solid or liquid intrusion could inflict irreversible damage on the compressor. To prevent this, ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and adhere to the requisite steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification. It is stronglyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment (like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. The import and export pipelines must be equipped with appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. An auxiliary bracket should support pipelines connected to the compressor, ensuring no weight burden falls on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and auxiliary equipment are installed and concrete has fully set, embark on the compressor operation test to validate installation success.
