At its core, the compressor body includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal, each playing a critical role in its operation. Coupled with a robust motor and sophisticated electric instrumentation, this series exemplifies the pinnacle of innovative design and functionality.
3.3.1 Begin the installation by positioning the compressor base securely on the prepared foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adeptly adjust the unit's level.
For optimal stability, alternately place two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. Ensure
that these wedges are crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions encountered. The contact surfaces should be finely finished for a
harmonious contact on inclined planes, ensuring the wedge iron's bearing capacity does not surpass 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precise leveling tool to ascertain the accuracy of the unit's placement. Adhere to stringent leveling standards: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal
precision of 0.10/1000mm are mandatory.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous attention to detail. Prior to initiating alignment, verify the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure complete disconnection of the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness diligently, ensuring it is free from foreign objects, dirt, and attachments;
5) Confirm that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size to allow loosening for precise motor adjustments;
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to adequately support the motor's foot. The gaskets must be free of attachments and uniformly flat. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments;
7) Acquire a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Assemble a bracket to hold the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator at the edge, aligning its probe with the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts meticulously to align the compressor and motor center lines. This should result in a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, where the motor shaft center line slightly exceeds the compressor low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should be between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts. Reassess the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout to ensure accuracy.;
12) Following a successful motor idle test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section for full assembly.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are meticulously adjusted, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, release and retighten the bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, it is crucial to prevent any solid or liquid from entering, as this could cause irreparable damage to the compressor. Therefore, ensure that the pipelines connected to the compressor meet stringent cleanliness and steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must be upgraded. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure compatibility of installation with the PI diagram, and support connected pipelines using an independent bracket, avoiding any load-bearing on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan along with its ancillary equipment, and after ensuring the complete solidification of the concrete, the compressor is ready to embark on the crucial operation test phase. This pivotal moment marks a significant step forward in verifying the seamless functionality and performance of the system.
3.3.8 Strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor, the electric control cabinet plays a vital role in system efficiency. The connection from the compressor to this cabinet should be meticulously arranged through threading pipes, thoughtfully routed underground to ensure safety and durability. Once the cabinet is securely positioned, it's time to connect the wiring terminals with precision, linking them harmoniously with the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) lines to ensure optimal operational control.
