Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the installation by placing the compressor base securely on its foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which serve as precise leveling tools for the unit.
Position the wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring perfect leveling of the unit, and proceed to spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should be
manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the specific requirements of the situation. The contact surface must be exquisitely finished, ensuring even contact on the inclined
plane. Note that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should be meticulously calculated, not exceeding 40Kg/cm².

3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level to achieve impeccable leveling. The unit's leveling specifications demand precision with an axial level tolerance of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level specification of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring peak performance and reliability.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with care. Prior to initiating alignment, confirm the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure absolute safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Safely dismantle the coupling shield for unimpeded access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to prepare for alignment;
4) Inspect the motor's installation surface for flatness, ensuring it's devoid of debris, dirt, and any attachments;
5) Confirm that the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts, allowing for sufficient loosening to adjust the motor alignment;
6) Have a generous supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's foot, ensuring they are perfectly flat and free of attachments. Avoid using overly long and thin gaskets between the motor and the base for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer;
8) Arrange a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to install a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to perfection (or follow specific instructions), ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is a mere 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be positioned slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face deviation maintained between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Upon completion, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and conduct a meticulous review of the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling,.
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section after successfully performing the motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the unit's "levelness" and alignment are impeccably adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts securely. After conducting mechanical operations (or trial operations), loosen these bolts and then retighten them to ensure lasting stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, as a high-speed rotating marvel, requires utmost protection. Any solid or liquid intrusion can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, guarantee that the inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are immaculately clean and meet the system's steam corrosion resistance standards. Pipelines failing to meet these conditions must be rectified immediately. It is highly
recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe section.
3.3.6 Efficiently install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all relevant pipeline accessories are fitted according to the PI diagram. The pipelines connected to the compressor must be supported by additional brackets, with their weight not burdening the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached its full solidity, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures everything is functioning flawlessly.
3.3.8 The electrical control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to this cabinet must be established through a threading pipe routed underground, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency. After situating the electric control cabinet, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, setting the stage for smooth operational control.
