MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to dramatically cut down on external energy requirements by repurposing the secondary steam energy it produces. Fundamentally, this process involves the transformation of electrical energy into thermal energy. Here's how it works: The secondary steam generated by the evaporator gets a boost through a high-efficiency steam compressor, elevating its pressure and temperature. This heightened steam is then redirected back to the evaporator, where it heats the materials to induce further evaporation, effectively recycling the latent heat of vaporization of this secondary steam. The result? A seamless, energy-saving cycle that maximizes efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is meticulously engineered, comprising several key components: a robust compressor body, an efficient coupling, a reliable gearbox, a comprehensive lubrication system, a powerful motor, state-of-the-art electric instruments, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. Its design is both compact and smart, ensuring easy maintenance and long-lasting performance.
3.3.1 Securely position the compressor base directly onto the robust foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure precise leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. After achieving perfect leveling, spot-weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. The user is responsible for manufacturing and installing the wedge, tailor-made to the actual conditions, ensuring even and substantial contact.
Ensure the contact surface is finished to perfection, allowing for even contact of inclined planes. The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm.

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to establish the perfect orientation. The unit's axial level should adhere to a meticulous standard of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be maintained at an accurate 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve flawless coupling centering. Prior to initiating alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are fulfilled.
1) Deactivate the main electrical power supply for utmost safety.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision.
4) Rigorously verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is devoid of foreign particles, dirt, and attachments.
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size to allow for secure loosening and precise motor adjustments.
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to meticulously cover the motor's foot. These gaskets must be flawless, devoid of any attachments, and perfectly flat. Refrain from using elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments between motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer.
8) Prepare the support bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below for optimal setup.
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to expertly mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe on the outer perimeter of the compressor wheel hub.
10) With precision, adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately. The maximum permissible deviation of the outer circle is a precise 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation should be limited to 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and conduct a thorough review of the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section for seamless operation.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and precise alignment of the casing are achieved, tighten the anchor bolts firmly. After the mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, demands pristine conditions. Solid or liquid intrusion can result in irreversible damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculately clean and comply with system's steam corrosion grade. Any non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification, making it advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Adhere to the PI diagram for installing relevant pipeline accessories. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be independently supported by a dedicated bracket, ensuring no weight burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are secured in place and the concrete base is fully cured, you can seamlessly proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is perfectly aligned and functioning at peak performance, safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of your operations.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. This proximity facilitates optimal performance. The intricate wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously connected through a carefully laid threading pipe that runs underground. After the electric control cabinet is precisely installed, make sure to connect the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS. This connection is essential for flawless remote monitoring and control, ensuring seamless operation and exceptional management.
