3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely on its foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely tune the unit's level.
Expertly alternate two wedge-shaped irons to achieve perfect leveling. Once satisfied, spot weld the irons at 4-5 strategic points for stability.
The user should custom-make and install these wedges according to the unique conditions of their setup. Ensure the contact surfaces are flawlessly finished.
This ensures even contact along the inclined plane, with a wedge iron bearing capacity not exceeding an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve meticulous alignment. Ensure the axial level of the unit is a precise 0.05/1000mm.
Similarly, maintain the unit's horizontal level at a precise 0.10/1000mm, guaranteeing impeccable balance.
3.3.3 Focus on centering the coupling accurately. Prior to alignment, confirm these essential steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield with care;
3) Carefully detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Meticulously check the motor installation plane for any debris, dirt, or unwanted coatings.
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing for easy adjustments to the motor position.
6) Stock up on high-quality stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage. Ensure these are clean and perfectly flat, avoiding long, thin inserts.
7) Use a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of an astounding 0.01mm (customer-provided).
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, following the diagram provided.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring precise readings.
10) Skillfully adjust the motor's foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely, aiming for a maximum deviation of just 0.05mm.
11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts to guarantee perfection.;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section after a satisfactory motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment are perfect, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Post-operation, retighten to ensure steadfast stability.
3.3.5 The impeller must remain pristine; any foreign solid or liquid can cause severe damage. Ensure the connected pipelines are immaculate and meet specified steam corrosion standards.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure pipelines are fitted with appropriate accessories per the PI diagram and supported independently.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has fully solidified, you can confidently proceed with carrying out the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures the seamless functionality of the system, setting the stage for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For safety and efficiency, it is imperative that the electric control cabinet for the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring from the compressor to this vital control hub should be expertly connected using underground threading pipes. After carefully positioning the electric control cabinet, seamlessly integrate the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS to ensure robust and continuous operation.
