The core principle involves compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process ingeniously converts electrical energy into thermal energy, consequently elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The increased temperature allows the steam to return to the evaporator, effectively heating materials and driving evaporation, thus executing a brilliant recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor presents an exemplary engineering marvel, encompassing the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This series is celebrated for its remarkably compact structure ensuring seamless maintenance and operational convenience.
3.3.1 To ensure optimal performance and durability, carefully position the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims strategically placed under the base to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately, achieving impeccable leveling. Secure the wedges by spot welding them in 4 to 5 points, ensuring a steadfast fit.
The user should custom-manufacture and install the wedges based on real-world requirements. It’s vital that the contact surface is finely finished for a seamless connection, ensuring even contact along the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to achieve the highest accuracy in leveling. The unit's leveling criteria are stringent: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm are required to maintain excellence.
3.3.3 Centralize the coupling for perfect alignment. Before commencing, ensure the following steps are meticulously executed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for unobstructed access;
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane for debris, dirt, or attachments, ensuring it is impeccably clean;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolt size, allowing for smooth adjustments to the motor position;
6) Have a sufficient supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's feet, ensuring they are free from any attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, sourced by the customer, for precise measurements;
8) Set up the bracket, as illustrated below, to support the dial indicator accurately;
9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub edge and place the probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub for precise readings;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts diligently to align the compressor and motor center lines meticulously. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling's end face should achieve a deviation of 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then reassess the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.;
12) Post-idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to finalize the setup.
3.3.4 Once you have refined the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Conduct a mechanical operation or trial run, then loosen and retighten the bolts to guarantee enduring stability.
3.3.5 Since the impeller rotates at high speeds, it’s crucial to prevent any solids or liquids from entering, as this could irreversibly damage the compressor. Ensure all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet the system’s steam corrosion specifications. Rectify any non-compliant pipeline immediately.For enhanced safety, consider installing solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Import and export pipelines should incorporate relevant accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. Additional brackets must support pipelines connected to the compressor to avoid burdening its structure.
3.3.7 Once you have meticulously installed the main fan along with its supportive equipment and the concrete has reached full solidity, you are ready to embark on the operation test of the compressor. This crucial phase ensures everything is functioning seamlessly and paves the way for optimal performance.
3.3.8 It is essential for the electric control cabinet of the compressor to be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For a streamlined connection, employ threading pipe to guide the wiring underground, creating an unobtrusive and secure linkage. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, diligently connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a robust and reliable communication setup.
