3.3.1 To achieve a seamless installation of the compressor base, it should be positioned integrally onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously adjust the unit's level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is impeccably leveled. Secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points for enduring stability.
These wedges should be expertly crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Finish the contact surfaces for an even contact of the inclined plane to maximize efficiency.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precise level to ascertain the unit's level. The leveling precision required is an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for optimum performance.
3.3.3 The coupling requires meticulous centering. Prior to alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Main power supply must be completely shut off to ensure safety;
2) Remove the coupling shield to allow unhindered access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section for easy alignment;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free of any foreign objects, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolt size for effortless adjustments via bolt loosening;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets for the motor feet. These gaskets must be spotless, perfectly flat, and avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, to be procured by the customer;
8) Prepare the appropriate bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub’s edge, ensuring the probe contacts the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately, maintaining a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm.
The motor shaft center line should sit slightly higher than the compressor’s low-speed shaft, with coupling end face tolerances of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) After alignment, tighten the motor foot bolts and verify the outer circle runout and end face runout for precision.
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post successful motor idling test to ensure smooth operation.
3.3.4 Once the casing is perfectly leveled and aligned, secure the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten the bolts for assured security.3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation requires vigilance against any solid or liquid intrusion, as it can lead to irreversible damage. Ensure all compressor-connected pipelines are clean and compliant with the system’s steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. Installation of solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, is advised before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 The compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes must be expertly installed, adhering to the PI diagram with all necessary pipeline accessories. The pipelines should be independently supported by an external bracket to prevent undue load on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary components have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidification, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be executed meticulously using threading pipe, routed underground to ensure durability and protection.
