3.3.1 Gracefully place the compressor base on its foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims beneath to adjust the unit level, ensuring precision.
Alternately position two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld these wedges at 4~5 points, securing stability. The wedges must be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the situation. Make sure the contact surface is finely finished for even, inclined contact.

3.3.2 Employ a level to ensure accuracy. The unit's leveling: axial level must be of 0.05/1000mm, with horizontal
precision at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Before aligning, adhere to these prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is flat and free from impurities, dirt, and attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes must be slightly larger than the bolt to permit bolt loosening for motor adjustment;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to cover the motor's foot. Ensure they are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustment;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool, accurate to 0.01mm (customer-provided);
8) Prepare the supportive bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket supports a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line almost perfectly (or as per instructions), with a max outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. Motor shaft center line should exceed the compressor's low-speed shaft center line slightly; coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial operation, loosen and retighten for assured security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, demands that no solids or liquids enter it, as these can irreparably damage the compressor. Ensure that inlet and outlet pipelines linked to the compressor are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion grade requirements. Rectify pipelines failing to meet these standards. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to prevent damage.
3.3.6 Securely install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for importing and exporting pipelines, ensuring all necessary pipeline accessories are installed. The weight of the pipeline must be supported by a separate bracket, not the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the sturdy installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment is complete and the concrete has reached full solidity, the moment you've been waiting for arrives: it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This step ensures your system's performance is as seamless and efficient as envisioned.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal operational efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter vicinity of the compressor. The connection journey from the compressor to this control hub requires careful threading through underground pipes, ensuring a neat and secure setup. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in position, it's crucial to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring flawless communication and control.
