The fundamental principle involves compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated. The increased temperature allows the secondary steam to return triumphantly to the evaporator, where it effectively heats materials and induces evaporation. This sophisticated cycle enables the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, making it an eco-friendly and economically advantageous technology.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is an exceptional piece of engineering marvel that primarily comprises several key components, including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its brilliantly compact design ensures ease of maintenance and operation, making it an ideal choice for various industrial applications. This streamlined structure not only enhances operational efficiency but also simplifies routine inspections and upkeep, ensuring longevity and reliability in its performance.
3.3.1 To begin, ensure the compressor base is securely positioned on the foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Carefully alternate two wedge-shaped irons for precision. Once the unit is leveled, apply spot welds at 4 to 5 points to secure the wedges.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual installation conditions, ensuring the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for uniform support.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Utilize a reliable leveling tool to ascertain the unit's precision. The axial level must meet 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level demands 0.10/1000mm accuracy.
3.3.3 For coupling alignment, adhere to these preparatory steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely deactivated.
2) Detach the coupling shield with care.
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for thorough access.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane meticulously, removing any debris or dirt to ensure a pristine surface.
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size to facilitate easy loosening and motor adjustments.
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These should be flat and free of any debris. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between the motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, ensuring it's customer-prepared.
8) Prepare a bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as depicted in the illustration below.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By adjusting bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines carefully, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line exceeds the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and reassess both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Upon successful motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. Following any mechanical operations or trial runs, relax and retighten the bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is delicate and must be protected from solid or liquid intrusion to prevent damage. It is imperative that all connecting pipelines are pristine and adhere to steam corrosion standards. Any deviations must be corrected immediately.It is prudent to install solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 When installing compressor inlet and outlet pipes, follow PI diagram specifications, ensuring all related pipeline accessories are in place. Pipes linked to the compressor should have independent support brackets, with no weight burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Following the successful installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has fully set and solidified, you can proceed to conduct the compressor operation test, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For a seamless connection, utilize threading pipes to channel the wiring underground from the compressor to the cabinet. Once the electric control cabinet is properly situated, securely connect its wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless integration and control experience.
