MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents a breakthrough in energy conservation. This innovative technology significantly slashes the need for external energy sources by cleverly recycling the secondary steam energy it generates. At its core, MVR operates on a fascinating principle: the secondary steam, birthed by the evaporator, is skillfully compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This transformation converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As a result, this reheated secondary steam returns triumphantly to the evaporator, where it warms materials, sparking evaporation once more. Thus, the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam is ingeniously recycled, creating a seamless cycle of energy efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a masterpiece of engineering, featuring an exemplary compact design that simplifies maintenance without compromising performance. It comprises several crucial components: the robust compressor body, a reliable coupling, a precise gearbox, an efficient lubrication system, a powerful motor, a sophisticated electric instrument panel, and an advanced anti-surge control system. All these elements work in harmony to deliver unparalleled functionality and ease of operation.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims under the base to precisely adjust the unit's level.
Strategically position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedges with spot welds at 4 to 5 points.
Craft and install the wedge based on actual conditions, ensuring the contact surface is smoothly finished for even contact of inclined planes.
The wedge iron must support no more than 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Use a precision level to achieve the required leveling standards. The unit's axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is precisely centered. Before proceeding with alignment, adhere to the following essential steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is turned off for safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Check the motor installation plane for any debris or dirt to ensure a flat surface;
5) The motor's bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing for easy adjustments;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's feet. Ensure they are clean and flat. Avoid using elongated thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy for precise measurements (customer supplied);
8) Prepare a steady bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines closely. The maximum deviation allowed is 0.05mm for the outer circle, with the motor shaft center slightly higher than the compressor's. Coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, then reassess the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.
12) After the motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment, ensure all anchor bolts are tightened. Following any mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation requires utmost care. Prevent any solid or liquid from infiltrating, as they can cause severe damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculately clean and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified immediately. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet pipe's straight section.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes adhering to the PI diagram specifications. The pipelines must be independently supported by brackets, ensuring no weight is borne by the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment are expertly installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, the thrilling next step is to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial phase ensures everything operates seamlessly, providing you with the utmost performance and reliability.
3.3.8 It's essential to position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter distance for optimal accessibility. The wiring journey from the compressor to this sophisticated cabinet should be meticulously conducted through an underground threading pipe, ensuring safety and tidiness. After securely positioning the electric control cabinet, connect its wiring terminals flawlessly with the remote DCS lines, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation.
