3.3.1 Position the compressor's sturdy base securely onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to precisely adjust and level the unit.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons to achieve perfect leveling. Spot weld these wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points for enduring stability. Note:
Manufacture and install wedges tailored to your unique circumstances. Ensure an immaculate contact surface for optimal support.
Plan the bearing capacity meticulously, keeping it below 40Kg/cm to maintain structural integrity.2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve exemplary alignment. Adhere to these leveling standards: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these parameters are consistently met for peak performance.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by ensuring these preliminary steps:
1) Completely disengage the main power supply for safety.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate adjustments.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's devoid of debris, grime, and other obstructions.
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are oversized for easy adjustment, allowing free movement for precision alignment.
6) Use ample, debris-free, flat stainless steel gaskets for motor support. Avoid using long, thin gaskets that could compromise stability.
7) For alignment accuracy, employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, brought by the customer.
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator securely, as depicted in subsequent illustrations.
9) Ensure the motor wheel hub mounting bracket properly holds the dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center is slightly elevated.
11) Securely tighten motor foot bolts, subsequently reviewing outer circle runout and end face runout for precision.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once you've achieved optimum 'levelness' and alignment, firmly secure the anchor bolts. After mechanical operations, loosen and retighten bolts to ensure unwavering stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, as a high-speed component, requires absolute protection from intrusion. Even minor solid or liquid entry can cause irreversible damage. Ensure all connected pipelines are clean, adhering to system steam corrosion standards. Rectify non-compliant pipelines immediately. Add solid-liquid separation equipment like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees to enhance protection at the inlet.Suggested for pre-compressor inlet pipes.
3.3.6 Securely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, integrating appropriate pipeline accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. Ensure the pipeline's weight is supported independently to prevent any undue strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete is fully cured to perfection, it's time to embark on the exciting phase of conducting a comprehensive compressor operation test to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
3.3.8 The sophisticated electric control cabinet for the compressor ought to be positioned within a strategic 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be expertly threaded through an underground pipe for optimal safety and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring impeccable communication and control.
