Its sophisticated design showcases an impeller directly mounted at the shaft extension end of the motor. The rotor is ingeniously supported by an oil film bearing, enabling the direct drive by the high-speed motor. By eliminating the need for a speed increasing box and coupling, this innovative compressor offers unparalleled performance and efficiency, redefining the standards of direct drive systems.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims under the base to expertly adjust the unit's level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is level, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4~5 strategic points. Note: The wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific scenario. Ensure the contact surface is finished for uniform contact on the inclined
plane. Additionally, ensure the wedge iron bears no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve precision leveling using a high-quality level. The unit's leveling benchmarks: axial level at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these precise measurements are adhered to for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before alignment, ensure the following conditions are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield for easy access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring it is free from obstructions, dirt, and unwanted debris;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are appropriately sized larger than the bolts themselves, facilitating smooth adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are clean and adequately flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with 0.01mm accuracy, provided by the customer;
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe touching the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously, ensuring that the compressor and motor center lines align accurately, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft's center should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. Maintain a coupling end face tolerance of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Double-check the coupling's outer circle and face runout for any discrepancies;
12) Following a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are fine-tuned, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating marvel. Any solid or liquid intrusion can cause irreversible damage. It is paramount to maintain the cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines to meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Securely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for adding relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure the pipelines, supported by an independent bracket, do not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its supplementary equipment, and after the concrete has fully cured, the compressor operation test may commence with confidence.
