This enhanced steam is then reintroduced to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and driving further evaporation. This sophisticated cycle achieves the remarkable feat of recycling the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, exemplifying sustainable innovation.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring critical components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. It boasts a compact, integrated structure, designed for ease of maintenance. This advanced design ensures optimal performance and reliability, making it an ideal choice for those seeking efficient and sustainable solutions.
3.3.1 The compressor base should be effortlessly placed on its foundation. Carefully slide wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a perfect level.
Place the wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is precisely leveled, secure the irons by spot welding them in 4 to 5 strategic points.
These wedges are crafted and installed by the user to fit their specific setup, ensuring a flawless contact surface for even inclined plane contact.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to meticulously achieve the desired level. The unit's levelling precision demands an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Such precision ensures optimal performance.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before proceeding with alignment, ensure adherence to these crucial prerequisites:
1) Safely cut off the main power supply.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield.
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness, clearing away all foreign materials, dirt, and attachments.
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments.
6) Gather ample, flawless stainless-steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. Avoid using long, thin gaskets as they may compromise adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, an essential tool provided by the customer.
8) Secure a supportive bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the subsequent illustration.
9) Attach the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's edge.
10) Adjust bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. The maximum deviation should not exceed 0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, meticulously reviewing the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post-motor idling test to ensure seamless operation.
3.3.4 After the casing's levelness and alignment are perfected, meticulously tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation, loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 Guard the impeller, a high-speed rotating element, against any solid or liquid intrusion to avert irreversible damage. Entrances and exits must be clean and meet steam corrosion grade standards.To enhance protection, consider installing solid-liquid separation devices like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the compressor's inlet pipe.
3.3.6 Fit the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with essential pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure these pipelines are independently supported, sparing the compressor body from bearing their weight.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its auxiliary components, and once the concrete has thoroughly hardened, it is time to bring the compressor to life with an operational test. This ensures optimal functionality and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 For seamless operation and control, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be positioned within a secure 5-meter radius. To ensure neatness and safety, the wiring should be elegantly routed through threading pipes underground, connecting the compressor to the cabinet. Once the cabinet is perfectly situated, make the final connections by linking the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) for precise management and control.
