3.3.1 Begin your journey with seamless setup: Position the compressor's robust base gracefully onto its foundation. Ensure precision by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for flawless leveling.
Alternate the placement of those ingenious wedge-shaped irons, achieving perfect balance. Once the leveling is impeccable, secure them with spot welds at 4 to 5 pivotal points, ensuring steadfast stability.
Crafted and positioned by your skilled hands, these wedges are tailored to your unique needs. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished, promising even adherence on inclined planes.
Make sure the wedge iron's bearing strength is respected, not surpassing a robust 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 With unwavering precision, use a level to ascertain the perfect horizontal balance. Achieve the pinnacle of leveling with axial precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
The horizontal alignment must be as immaculate as the axial.
3.3.3 Master the art of coupling alignment: Before you embark, ensure the following prerequisites are meticulously fulfilled:
1) Guarantee safety by switching off the main power supply;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane, ensuring it's free of debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Design motor bolt holes larger than the bolts, enabling ease of adjustment;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets for motor support. These gaskets must be pristine; avoid using long, thin gaskets for accurate adjustment.
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision, a testament to your commitment to quality;
8) Ready the supporting bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the figure below, ensuring stable alignment;
9) Attach the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub mounting bracket, positioning the probe meticulously on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the motor's adjustment bolts to align the central lines of the compressor and motor. Achieve an exterior circle deviation of no more than 0.05mm, with the motor's shaft center slightly elevated.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then review the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision.;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test, ensuring seamless operation.
3.3.4 Following the flawless alignment and leveling of the casing, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical or trial operation, repeat the tightening for enduring reliability.
3.3.5 Protect the high-speed impeller, a marvel of engineering, from potential harm. Ensure all connected pipelines are immaculate and adhere to steam corrosion standards to prevent damage.Enhance safety and efficiency by integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines with precision. Adorn these pathways with relevant accessories as illustrated in the PI diagram, ensuring their support structure is independent of the compressor's sturdy frame.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidity, you can initiate the compressor operation test with confidence.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5m radius of the compressor. Ensure seamless connectivity by threading the wiring through a dedicated pipe system, discretely routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, proceed to link the wiring terminals within it to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a cohesive and efficient setup.
