The fundamental principle revolves around the secondary steam produced by the evaporator being compressed using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process skillfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, subsequently elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The increased temperature of the secondary steam returns to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and inducing evaporation. This method ensures the sustainable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization within the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an epitome of engineering excellence, comprising essential components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design showcases a compact structure that not only enhances operational efficiency but also facilitates convenient maintenance, ensuring seamless performance and longevity.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto its foundation. To achieve perfect alignment, insert wedge-shaped shims strategically under the base. These shims are essential for fine-tuning the unit's level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring precision. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, reinforce by spot welding the wedges at 4 to 5 anchor points.
These wedges should be crafted and positioned by the user, tailored to specific conditions. The contact surfaces must be meticulously finished for flawless engagement.
The wedges' inclined planes should make uniform contact, bearing a maximum load capacity of no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to ascertain the unit's alignment. The axial level must be maintained at an impressive 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be kept at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by adhering to the following meticulous steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for any unwanted debris, ensuring a pristine surface;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing for easy adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to adequately support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be free of impurities and sufficiently flat, avoiding the use of long and slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, which should be customer-provided;
8) Ensure you have the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as demonstrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to skillfully mount the dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe expertly on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (with the motor shaft center line slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and verify both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling to ensure impeccable alignment.;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten all anchor bolts securely. Following a trial operation, re-loosen and then re-tighten these bolts to confirm their secure fit.
3.3.5 Given that the impeller operates at high speeds, any foreign solid or liquid entering it could lead to catastrophic damage to your compressor. Thus, it is imperative that the inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculately clean and meet the stringent grade requirements for steam corrosion. Pipelines that fall short should be promptly rectified.It is prudent to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories as specified in the PI diagram. The compressor's associated pipelines should be independently supported by another bracket to prevent undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its corresponding ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has achieved complete solidification, it's time to embark on the compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures the seamless functionality and efficiency of the Integrally Geared Steam Compressor, corroborating its readiness for operational demands.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be meticulously achieved through underground threading pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is positioned, establish a robust connection by linking the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS (Distributed Control System), ensuring a harmonious integration for streamlined operations.
