MVR, an acronym for mechanical vapor recompression, represents an innovative and energy-efficient technology that significantly curtails the need for external energy sources by harnessing and reutilizing the secondary steam energy it produces. The core principle of this groundbreaking technology is to capture the secondary steam generated by the evaporator and compress it using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This increased temperature allows the secondary steam to be cycled back into the evaporator, where it acts as a heating agent for the materials, thus generating evaporation. This cycle brilliantly recycles the latent heat of vaporization contained within the secondary steam, offering a sustainable and eco-friendly solution.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is ingeniously designed and meticulously engineered, consisting primarily of a robust compressor body. This includes essential components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, the system is complemented by an intricately designed coupling, a high-performance motor, and sophisticated electric instruments. Every aspect of the DML series is crafted to ensure optimal performance, longevity, and efficiency.
3.3.1 Begin by meticulously placing the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect unit leveling.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is precisely leveled, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 crucial points.
The user should craft and install the wedges per actual conditions, ensuring that the contact surfaces are perfectly finished for even contact of the inclined
plane. Note: The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not surpass 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve impeccable leveling. The unit's leveling criteria are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, paired with a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring precise alignment.
3.3.3 Centralizing the coupling is essential. Prior to commencing alignment, adhere to these foundational prerequisites:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing bolt loosening for motor adjustment;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's feet, flat and devoid of attachments. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (provided by the customer);
8) Ready the bracket as shown below for supporting the dial indicator;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the hub's edge, with the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor foot bolts ensuring the compressor and motor center lines align (or as per instructions), with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, and coupling end face between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by fastening the motor foot bolts, then rechecking the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following the motor's free-running test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of "levelness" and casing alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation or test run, release and retighten the bolts for assurance.
3.3.5 As the impeller operates at high speeds, ensure no solids or liquids intrude, preventing irreversible damage to the compressor. Maintain inlet and outlet pipelines in pristine condition, adhering to the system's steam corrosion standards. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines, and consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment (gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for fitting relevant pipeline accessories. Support pipelines via separate brackets, ensuring no weight is borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Upon successful installation of the main fan along with its supplementary equipment and the complete solidification of the concrete, you are ready to embark on the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, ensure the electric control cabinet is positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection between the compressor and the control cabinet should be meticulously established using a threading pipe, which is ideally routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is stationed, skillfully connect the wiring terminals within to the lines at the remote DCS for seamless operation.
