The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a masterpiece of engineering, encompassing the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring it is not only space-efficient but also easy to maintain. This thoughtfully crafted system enhances operational reliability and efficiency, offering users a seamless and convenient maintenance experience.
3.3.1 Begin with the seamless installation of the compressor base, elegantly positioning it on the pre-prepared foundation. Gracefully slide wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to flawlessly adjust the unit's level.
Strategically place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is precisely leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points for secure stability. These wedges should be
custom-crafted and installed by the user to suit the actual situation, ensuring the contact surface is impeccably finished for smooth, even contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level to find the absolute balance. The leveling specifications are as follows: the axial level of the unit should be an exceptional 0.05/1000mm, with the horizontal level equally impressive at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is impeccably centered. Before proceeding with alignment, confirm these vital prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Gently remove the protective coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Meticulously check the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from any unwanted elements, dirt, or attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole should be ample in size, larger than the bolt, allowing for adjustments to the motor by loosening the bolt;
6) Adequately prepare an abundant supply of stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's feet. Ensure these gaskets are attachment-free and uniformly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for insertion between the motor and base for adjustment;
7) Employ a superior dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a remarkable accuracy of 0.01mm (supplied by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to effectively mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adeptly adjusting the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor centerline to be virtually identical (or as per specific instructions), maintaining a maximum deviation of just 0.05mm. The motor shaft centerline should be strategically higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline, with the coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finally, ensure the motor foot bolts are securely tightened, conducting a thorough review of the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.
12) After successfully completing a motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Upon achieving the perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, release the bolts and meticulously tighten them once more for added security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, is sensitive to any solid or liquid intrusion, which can cause irreversible damage. It is imperative to ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and meet the stringent steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must be promptly rectified. It is highlyrecommended to incorporate robust solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Executively install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the import and export pipelines are fitted with the requisite pipeline accessories following the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket, as the compressor body should not bear the weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its auxiliary equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, you're ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures optimal performance and reliable operation of your cutting-edge compressor system.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring that connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously threaded through underground piping. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, promptly link the wiring terminals inside the cabinet with the remote DCS lines, ensuring flawless communication and control.
