MVR, which stands for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology crafted to significantly reduce the reliance on external energy sources. It achieves this by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy it produces. The fundamental principle behind this technology is the compression of secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process converts electrical energy into thermal energy, thereby increasing both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature allows the secondary steam to be recycled back to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and facilitating evaporation. This remarkable process made possible by MVR technology ensures the comprehensive recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam, resulting in a sustainable and cost-effective solution.
The DM Series Single-Stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of modern engineering, meticulously designed to deliver exceptional performance. Core components include the robust compressor body, efficient coupling, and reliable gearbox, all working in harmony. The lubrication system ensures smooth operation, while the powerful motor, complemented by electric instrumentation and an advanced anti-surge control system, provide unmatched efficiency and safety. Its compact structure not only optimizes space but also ensures easy maintenance, making it a preferred choice for professionals seeking reliability and convenience.
3.3.1 Begin by integrally positioning the compressor base securely on the foundation. Lay wedge-shaped shims under the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Strategically place two wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled. Spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 key points for steadfast stability.
The user is responsible for manufacturing and installing the wedges tailored to the actual scenario, ensuring the contact surface is immaculately smooth for even contact.
All inclined planes must meet the specification where the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Employ a level for meticulous leveling. The axial level precision of the unit must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should reach 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures the unit operates with unparalleled precision.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment. Before commencing alignment, ensure adherence to these crucial prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the coupling area;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring no debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments are present;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts themselves, allowing easy adjustment by loosening the bolts;
6) Prepare a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets. These must cover the motor's feet entirely, devoid of attachments, and be impeccably flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Equip yourself with a robust bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the figure below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for fixing a dial indicator on the hub edge, enabling precise probe placement on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. Maintain a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle. Note that the motor shaft center should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center, with a coupling end-face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts. Reassess both the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling to ensure perfection.;
12) Conclude the process by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section post-motor idling test, solidifying the setup.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are refined, secure the anchor bolts firmly. After a successful mechanical or trial run, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, must remain free of any solid or liquid intrusions which could inflict irreversible damage. It is essential to keep the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines impeccably clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification.We highly recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, positioned before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet to ensure longevity and efficiency.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all pipelines adhere to the PI diagram's specifications, with relevant accessories installed correctly. The pipelines must be supported separately, not relying on the compressor body for structural support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, the stage is set for an exhilarating demonstration of the compressor's capabilities through a dynamic operation test.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure that the connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is executed via threading pipe, which must be laid underground for optimal durability and safety. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly aligned and installed, make the necessary connections between the wiring terminals in the cabinet and the lines at the remote DCS to ensure seamless operation and control.
