3.3.1 Begin the installation by placing the compressor base directly onto its foundation. Elevate the base using wedge-shaped shims to achieve a perfectly level unit. These shims are essential for maintaining stability and should be strategically placed.
Position alternating pairs of wedge-shaped irons for optimal leveling. Once leveled, secure them with spot welds at four to five pivotal points. This ensures the foundation remains steadfast.
Users must customize and install these wedges based on specific circumstances, ensuring a finely finished contact surface for seamless interaction of inclined planes.
The load-bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not surpass 40Kg/cm².2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's level. The leveling specifications are stringent: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level should be no more than 0.10/1000mm.
Both levels must be within these precise parameters to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.3 The coupling alignment process is crucial. Prior to this, ensure these vital steps are completed:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for clear access.
4) Verify the motor installation surface's flatness, ensuring it is devoid of debris, dirt, and other unwanted elements.
5) Ensure that the motor's bolt holes are adequately sized to allow bolt adjustment for seamless motor positioning.
6) Equip yourself with an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets for the motor's foot, ensuring they are clean and impeccably flat. Avoid using long, slender gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with a precision of 0.01mm (provided by the customer) for alignment accuracy.
8) Prepare support brackets for the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram for effective usage.
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is intended for securing a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, facilitating precise measurements at the compressor's wheel hub perimeter.
10) Align the motor and compressor center lines using adjustment bolts around the motor feet, ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle remains within 0.05mm. The motor shaft should align slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts and rechecking both outer circle and end face runout for impeccable precision.;
12) After completing a satisfactory motor idle test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment, secure the casing by tightening the anchor bolts. Following a mechanical trial operation, re-loosen and re-tighten these bolts to ensure lasting stability.
3.3.5 As a pivotal high-speed component, the impeller requires pristine conditions. Any solid or liquid intrusion can cause irreversible harm. Ensure that both inlet and outlet connections remain immaculate and comply with system steam corrosion standards. Implement rectifications where needed and consider adding solid-liquid separation equipment prior to the compressor's inlet for additional protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for accessory installation on import and export pipelines. Secure these pipelines with independent supports, ensuring no load is placed on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and auxiliary equipment are firmly in place and the concrete has thoroughly cured, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test.
