The core principle of MVR revolves around compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor, seamlessly transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. This process results in an increase in the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, which is then recirculated back to the evaporator. This cycle effectively heats the materials and induces evaporation, thereby achieving the remarkable recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is meticulously engineered to encompass several essential components: the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electronic instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This model boasts a compact structure, ensuring that it remains both space-efficient and easy to maintain, offering unparalleled convenience for users.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base gently and precisely on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely tune the level of the unit.
Artfully alternate the placement of the wedge-shaped irons for perfect leveling of the unit. Secure them with spot welds at 4~5 points,
crafted to the user's exact specifications. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished for a seamless connection of the inclined
planes, with a reliable bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve immaculate leveling. Stringent leveling requirements ensure the axial level is no more than 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should be no more than 0.10/1000mm, guaranteeing top-tier performance.
3.3.3 Perfectly align the coupling. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure all criteria are met:
1) Completely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane for cleanliness and absence of any obstructions;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes surpass the bolt size to allow for easy adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to securely cover the motor feet. These must be free of debris, flat, and avoid using lengthy gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Set up a dependable bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the subsequent illustration;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount the dial indicator meticulously on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Meticulously adjust bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line perfectly, with a maximum deviation of 0.05mm, maintaining the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line; coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout to ensure impeccable alignment.;
12) Once the motor idling test is successful, re-install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After a rigorous mechanical or trial operation, loosen and re-tighten them for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain pristine. Solid or liquid ingress can cause irreversible damage. Ensure the connected inlet and outlet pipelines meet the steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. For optimal performance, integrate a solid-liquid separation device, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor's inlet straight pipe.uggested to add solid liquid separation equipment (gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Adorn import and export pipelines with relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure pipelines attached to the compressor are independently supported by a separate bracket, as the compressor body should not bear their weight.
3.3.7 With the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment flawlessly completed, and the concrete fully solidified, you are now ready to embark on the thrilling journey of testing the compressor's operation.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal performance, position the compressor's electric control cabinet strategically within a convenient 5-meter proximity. Securely connect the compressor to the electric control cabinet using expertly laid threading pipes, discreetly routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless communication and control.
