The rotor is ingeniously supported by an oil film bearing, enabling direct drive through a high-speed motor. 3.3.1 Securely position the compressor base integrally on a solid foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims under the base to achieve optimal unit leveling.
Strategically place alternating wedge-shaped irons, ensuring precise leveling of the unit. Spot weld the irons at four to five points for stability.
The user must manufacture and install wedges tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure an even and secure contact surface with the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to precisely gauge the unit's level. The unit's axial level must maintain an exacting precision of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be at 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure the utmost precision for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Attain coupling centering with precision. Prior to initiating alignment, verify these crucial preconditions:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Diligently remove the coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Carefully dismantle the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Meticulously check the motor installation plane for cleanliness and absence of any debris or obstructions;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is generously larger than the bolt size for easy adjustments;
6) Amass an adequate supply of stainless steel gaskets to fit under the motor feet. Ensure these gaskets are clean, flat, and free of attachments.
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a remarkable accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the esteemed customer);
8) Prepare the necessary bracket as depicted for dial indicator support;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to adeptly mount the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center line, ensuring a minimal deviation of 0.05mm. Keep the motor shaft center higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center.
11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts, ensuring the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling are within specifications.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment are impeccably adjusted, secure the anchor bolts. After thorough mechanical operation or trial operation, release and re-tighten the bolts to affirm steadfastness.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, it's crucial to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion, which could irreversibly damage the compressor. Ensure the cleanliness and adherence to steam corrosion standards of the inlet and outlet pipelines.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes with necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. Note that the compressor should not bear the pipeline's weight; provide another support bracket.
3.3.7 Once the intricate installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is accomplished and the concrete has set to perfection, it's time to embark on the exciting compressor operation test. This vital step ensures everything is primed and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless operations, position the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5m radius of the compressor. Utilize threading pipe for secure wiring, elegantly routed underground from the compressor to the cabinet. With the electric control cabinet perfectly poised, meticulously connect the wiring terminals to the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless integration.
