MVR, short for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents a cutting-edge, energy-conserving technology designed to dramatically slash the need for external energy inputs. It ingeniously reutilizes secondary steam energy that it produces. The core principle of MVR is impressively straightforward: secondary steam produced by the evaporator is expertly compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, increasing both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated temperature then circulates back into the evaporator, efficiently heating the materials and promoting evaporation, thus ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the installation by securely placing the compressor base on the foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims underneath the base, which are crucial for achieving precise unit leveling.
Align the wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring a perfect level. Once aligned, spot weld the wedges securely at 4 to 5 strategic points. These essential wedges must be
custom-fabricated and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. The contact surface must be flawlessly finished to guarantee smooth contact of the inclined
plane. Note that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ensure impeccable leveling. The exacting requirements are: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal
level should be 0.10/1000mm, assuring superior unit stability.

3.3.3 Centering the coupling is critical. Before proceeding with alignment, ensure strict adherence to these preliminary steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate proper alignment;
4) Thoroughly inspect the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any unwanted attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should exceed bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to finely adjust the motor positioning;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to evenly cover the motor's foot. Ensure gaskets are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using excessively long and slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with high precision (0.01mm) as part of the alignment process—provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for precise dial indicator placement on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring accurate probe positioning on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to meticulously align the compressor and motor center lines to the same plane (or adhere to relevant instructions). Maximum allowable deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned higher than that of the compressor low-speed shaft. Coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Finally, securely fasten the motor foot bolts and reassess the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for precision alignment.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idling test for ultimate alignment accuracy.
3.3.4 After achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and then retighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller spins at high speeds, and any foreign solid or liquid entering it can cause severe, irreversible damage. It is crucial to maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring compliance with system steam corrosion grades. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification. It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation devices like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to position the relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure that the compressor is not burdened by the pipeline's weight, which should be supported by an independent bracket.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation is fully solidified, it's time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This is a crucial step to ensure optimal functionality and performance of the equipment.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters to ensure seamless connectivity and operational efficiency. The wiring, which needs to be expertly threaded through pipes installed underground, should link the compressor to this control hub. Once the electric control cabinet is securely stationed, make sure to connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) for comprehensive control and monitoring.
