MVR, an abbreviation for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents a groundbreaking energy-saving technology designed to significantly reduce external energy demands. It achieves this by ingeniously reusing the secondary steam energy that it itself generates. The core principle behind this innovative technology lies in compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process cleverly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to an elevation in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The increased temperature of this steam allows it to be rerouted back to the evaporator, efficiently heating the materials and inducing evaporation. This masterful cycle enables the seamless recycling of the latent heat of vaporization, optimizing the energy utilization of the system.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising a comprehensive array of components including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. This finely-tuned machine boasts a compact structure, ensuring it is not only space-efficient but also remarkably convenient for maintenance. Its thoughtful design makes it an ideal choice for those seeking reliability and efficiency in their operations.
3.3.1 To ensure stability and optimal performance, position the compressor base seamlessly onto its foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, vital for achieving a perfectly leveled unit.
Arrange these wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the compressor is level, secure these wedges with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
Craft and install the wedges according to specific requirements. Ensure the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for even and secure contact on inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve meticulous accuracy. The unit's axial level should not exceed 0.05/1000mm, with a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment for the coupling. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following protocols are adhered to:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor's installation surface is impeccably clean, free from any debris or obstructions;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are adequately sized to allow bolt loosening for necessary adjustments;
6) Prepare a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot securely. These gaskets must be flat, devoid of any attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy threshold of 0.01mm for precise alignment, to be provided by the customer;
8) Have at hand the appropriate bracket to support the dial indicator as demonstrated in the diagram below;
9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, ensuring the probe rests on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts meticulously so that both the compressor and motor align centrally. Maintain a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor's shaft center line is positioned slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for any irregularities;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Following the precise adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment, ensure to tighten the anchor bolts adequately. After the initial mechanical operation, loosen and retighten the bolts for consistent security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, requires protection from any solid or liquid intrusions that could lead to irreversible damage. Maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines to adhere to steam corrosion standards. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines immediately. It is strongly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all necessary pipeline accessories are fitted according to the PI diagram. Additional support brackets should bear the pipeline's weight, preventing undue strain on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Following the successful installation of the main fan and its supporting equipment, and once the concrete has achieved full solidification, the next step involves conducting a comprehensive operation test of the compressor. This crucial phase ensures readiness and optimal performance of the equipment.
3.3.8 For optimal safety and efficiency, the compressor's electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the unit. The connection from the compressor to this cabinet should be executed using threading pipes that run underground. Once the cabinet is perfectly placed, establish secure connections between the internal wiring terminals of the cabinet and the remote DCS lines, ensuring seamless integration and control.
