3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base onto its robust foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims under the base to meticulously adjust and achieve a precise level for the unit.
Employ two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating manner. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, execute spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring stability and reliability.
The user is responsible for the manufacture and installation of the wedge, tailored to the actual conditions, with the contact surface finely finished to ensure even distribution of load across the inclined plane.
Wedge iron should never exceed a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm to maintain structural integrity.2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the unit's precision leveling. The rigorous leveling criteria mandate an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, complemented by a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
The horizontal positioning is critical for the operational efficacy and longevity of the unit.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by adhering to the following meticulous steps:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply to ensure safe handling.
2) Diligently remove the coupling shield to access the internal components.
3) Carefully detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate accurate alignment.
4) Verify the motor installation's plane flatness, keeping it free from debris, dirt, or obstructions, ensuring an ideal setup.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing bolts to be loosened for precise motor adjustments.
6) Prepare a sufficient supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor feet, ensuring they are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with a 0.01mm accuracy, which should be supplied by the customer, for impeccable alignment.
8) Set up a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying illustration.
9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, placing the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge for precision evaluation.
10) Adjust the motor foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure a deviation of no more than 0.05mm on the outer circle, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor’s low-speed shaft center line.
11) Once alignment is satisfactory, fasten the motor foot bolts securely and validate the outer circle runout and end face runout to confirm precision.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section seamlessly.
3.3.4 Fine-tune and secure the casing's 'levelness' and alignment with precision, then tighten the anchor bolts. After a successful trial run, release and retighten the bolts to ensure robust stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, making it crucial to avoid solid or liquid intrusion to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure the connected pipelines meet the system's steam corrosion standards and are free of contaminants.It is recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor’s inlet for optimal performance.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, adhering to the PI diagram specifications. Ensure that pipelines are independently supported by brackets to prevent unnecessary strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been skillfully installed, and the concrete has fully solidified to ensure maximum stability, it's time to proceed with the much-anticipated operation test of the compressor. This test is a crucial step in confirming the seamless integration and flawless performance of the system, ensuring that it's ready to deliver exceptional efficiency in the vanadium extraction process.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The wiring connecting the compressor to the control cabinet must be meticulously laid underground using threading pipes. Once the cabinet is perfectly situated, ensure the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet are securely linked to the remote DCS lines, establishing a robust connection for superior operational control and monitoring.
