MVR, an acronym for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, represents a groundbreaking energy-conserving technology designed to dramatically cut down the requirement for external power sources. It ingeniously reutilizes the secondary steam energy it generates, creating a harmonious balance of efficiency and sustainability. The core principle involves the high-efficiency steam compressor compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, simultaneously increasing the steam's pressure and temperature. The elevated temperature and pressure cause the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and prompts further evaporation. This sophisticated method results in the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, showcasing a cycle of continuous, efficient energy utilization.
The DM Series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is ingeniously engineered to include a robust compressor body, seamless coupling, efficient gearbox, comprehensive lubrication system, powerful motor, precise electric instruments, and a state-of-the-art anti-surge control system. Its design is notably compact, ensuring it is both space-efficient and easy to maintain, promising seamless operational integrity and longevity.
3.3.1 Start with placing the compressor base securely onto the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the unit's level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately to ensure perfect leveling. Secure the wedges by spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points after achieving levelness.
The user must manufacture and install the wedges based on real-world conditions. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for uniform contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level tool to find and maintain the unit's level. The axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling: Before commencing alignment, adhere to the following prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Safely remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness to confirm absence of debris or unwanted materials;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts to allow adjustments and motor alignment;
6) Have a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be clean and perfectly flat, avoiding the use of long, thin ones for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, with at least 0.01mm accuracy, to ensure precise measurements (provided by the customer);
8) Acquire a bracket as depicted below for supporting the dial indicator;
9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor foot bolts to align both the compressor and motor center lines accurately. Keep the maximum deviation of the outer circle at 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft's center line is higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face should measure 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then recheck the coupling's outer circle and end face runout to ensure precision.;
12) After performing a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are confirmed, tighten the anchor bolts securely. After conducting mechanical or trial operations, loosen and re-tighten these bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 To prevent irreversible damage, ensure no solids or liquids enter the high-speed rotating impeller. Keep inlet and outlet pipelines clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. If necessary, rectify pipelines not meeting these conditions.Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the inlet's straight pipe to maintain optimal operations.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes as per the PI diagram specifications. Ensure pipelines are independently supported by a separate bracket, avoiding any weight on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, it will be time to conduct the operation test of the compressor. This step is crucial to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 For maximum efficiency and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. The wiring, elegantly routed through underground threading pipes, should seamlessly connect the compressor to the electric control cabinet. Once the cabinet is securely in place, ensure all wiring terminals within are expertly linked to the remote DCS lines, guaranteeing flawless communication and control.
