Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base on the pre-prepared foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the unit's level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons to achieve precise leveling. Once the unit is level, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 points to ensure stability.
The wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific installation scenario. Ensure that the contact surfaces are finished for even contact.
The inclined plane should be in full contact, with the wedge iron not exceeding a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to determine the unit's level. The leveling precision requirements are: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure the unit meets these exacting standards for optimal performance.

3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Prior to starting the alignment process, verify the fulfillment of these crucial prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely switched off;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling and set aside;
4) Inspect the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from any foreign materials, dirt, or attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should be larger than the bolts to facilitate easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's feet. Ensure gaskets are free of attachments and sufficiently flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a bracket for supporting the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;

9) Utilize a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix the dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines—keep maximum outer circle deviation at 0.05mm; ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Once aligned, secure the motor foot bolts firmly, and verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for accuracy;;
12) Following a satisfactory motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment, fasten the anchor bolts securely. After mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure optimal joint integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, must remain free from any solid or liquid intrusion, as such entry can inflict irreversible damage.
Ensure the cleanliness and proper steam corrosion grading of the inlet and outlet pipelines. Non-compliant pipelines require rectification, and it is advised to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Utilize relevant pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. Support pipelines with a separate bracket to avoid burdening the compressor body with their weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary components have been skillfully installed and the concrete foundation has attained full solidity, you are all set to embark on the compressor's operation test. This is the moment when precision meets reliability, ensuring that your equipment is ready to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless operational efficiency, the compressor's electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be meticulously arranged through underground threading pipes. When the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, make sure to connect the cabinet's wiring terminals to the remote DCS lines, paving the way for a streamlined and efficient electronic control experience.
