3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base onto the foundation, ensuring stability by inserting wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are essential for achieving a perfectly leveled unit.
Alternate the placement of the wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is meticulously leveled, perform spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points to secure them firmly.
The wedge-shaped components should be crafted and installed by the user to suit the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are finely finished for even pressure distribution.
The inclined plane should meet the load-bearing specification, not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to determine the exact level of the equipment. The unit must meet stringent leveling standards: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level alignment of 0.10/1000mm.
These precise measurements ensure the highest operational efficiency and stability.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment with these preliminary steps:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the middle section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Inspect and ensure the motor's installation plane is immaculate, free of debris and impurities;
5) The motor's bolt hole should exceed the bolt size to allow for loosening and precise motor adjustments.
6) Prepare ample, flat stainless steel gaskets for motor footing, ensuring they are devoid of any attachments. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for base adjustments.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment tool (0.01mm accuracy) to achieve perfect alignment.
8) Equip yourself with a support bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Utilize a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, measuring with precision.
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts at the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines meticulously. Maximum deviation for the outer circle should not exceed 0.05mm.
11) Finally, tighten the motor foot bolts securely, and double-check the runout of the outer circle and end face of the coupling.;
12) After successful idle testing of the motor, reinstall the diaphragm coupling's middle section.
3.3.4 Following the precise alignment and leveling adjustments, firmly secure the anchor bolts. Post-trial operation, it's vital to loosen and re-tighten the bolts for maximum stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, and any foreign materials can cause severe damage. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and compliant with steam corrosion standards.Consider installing solid-liquid separation devices like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the inlet to maintain optimal conditions.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with the necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines should have independent support, ensuring no additional weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its supporting equipment is successfully completed and the concrete foundation has fully set, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures the equipment's seamless functionality and peak performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For optimal durability and safety, utilize threading pipes to connect the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet, ensuring the pathways are securely routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is correctly positioned, proceed by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the corresponding lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless connection and operation.
