3.3.1 Begin by expertly placing the compressor base integrally onto its foundation. Skillfully insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Carefully position two wedge-shaped irons alternately for optimal stability. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons with meticulous spot welding at 4 to 5 points. The wedge shall be
custom-crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances. Ensure a finely finished contact surface for even engagement of the inclined
plane. The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a high-precision level to attain the perfect balance. The exacting leveling requirements of the unit demand an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, with a horizontal
precision of 0.10/1000mm for unrivaled accuracy.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable coupling alignment by centering it accurately. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Safely turn off the main power supply to ensure a secure working environment;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to provide unobstructed access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it's free from foreign materials, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is generously sized compared to the bolt to allow for effortless loosening and precise motor adjustment;
6) Prepare an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot. These gaskets should remain free of any attachments and exhibit optimal flatness. Refrain from using long, thin gaskets for inserting between the motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter of 0.01mm precision (to be provided by the customer);
8) Ready the support bracket for the dial indicator as detailed in the accompanying illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, while placing the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By deftly adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines with precision (or according to specific instructions). Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle remains within 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, coupling end face within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and meticulously check both outer circle runout and coupling end face runout to ensure precision;;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, proceed with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 After achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation (or trial), loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure enduring reliability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, must remain free from any solid or liquid incursion, as such elements could cause irreparable damage to the compressor. Therefore, it's imperative to maintain pristine cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor, meeting the strict requirements of the system's steam corrosion grade. Any non-compliant pipelines must undergo necessary rectification. It is suggested to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) just before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. According to the PI diagram, integrate relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure that pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by an independent bracket, never relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Following the complete installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment, and once the concrete has fully cured, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connections from the compressor to the cabinet should be expertly threaded through underground pipes. Once the cabinet is set, ensure the wiring terminals within are meticulously linked with the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) lines, guaranteeing a robust and efficient operational framework.
