Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To ensure flawless performance, position the compressor base meticulously on a solid foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to perfectly calibrate the unit's level.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring precise leveling of the unit. Spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points for additional stability.
The user must tailor the manufacture and installation of wedges to their specific circumstances. Finish the contact surfaces meticulously to ensure even contact across the inclined plane,
with a robust bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm².

3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve precise leveling: the unit’s axial level should maintain 0.05/1000mm accuracy, while its horizontal level should be no greater than 0.10/1000mm.
Adhering to these stringent specifications ensures optimal operational efficiency.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by meeting these essential prerequisites before commencing:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for cleanliness;
5) Motor bolt holes should be sufficiently large to allow easy bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Adequately prepare flat, stainless steel gaskets for solid motor support, avoiding long or thin gaskets for adjustment;
7) Use a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter (customer-provided) with 0.01mm accuracy;
8) Equip the workplace with a suitable bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure;

9) Affix a dial indicator to the motor wheel hub bracket for precise alignment tasks;
10) Meticulously adjust around the motor feet for alignment, aiming for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm.

11) Confirm alignment by securely tightening motor foot bolts, then check coupling outer circle and end face runouts,;
12) Complete the installation by reattaching the coupling intermediate section after a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once alignment and leveling are perfected, firmly tighten anchor bolts. Conduct a trial run, then retighten bolts to ensure sustained precision.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain pristine; solid or liquid intrusion can inflict irreparable damage. Ensure all connected pipelines are immaculately clean and meet stringent steam corrosion standards.
Enhance safety by incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Execute the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes with utmost precision. All pipelines must adhere to PI diagram specifications and utilize independent support brackets to spare the compressor body from excessive weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan alongside its essential ancillary equipment is accomplished and the concrete foundation has been allowed the necessary time to fully harden, the stage is set to commence the rigorous compressor operation test. This significant milestone ensures optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To maintain a streamlined and secure connection, utilize threading pipes to channel the wiring underground, facilitating a seamless and orderly wiring process from the compressor to the cabinet. Upon establishing the electric control cabinet in its rightful place, ensure a meticulous connection of the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, thus guaranteeing a robust and efficient operational setup.
