3.3.1 Start by securely positioning the compressor base on its foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims strategically placed underneath to achieve perfect leveling.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons for optimal stability. Once leveled, spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 points to ensure steadfastness.
Craft the wedges as per the actual on-site conditions, ensuring a finished contact surface for uniform load distribution.
The wedge iron's load-bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's alignment. Achieve an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for exceptional accuracy.
Accuracy in leveling ensures the utmost reliability and efficiency of the unit.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with finesse. Before beginning this precise alignment, ensure the following criteria are met:
1) Turn off the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for direct alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris or attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should accommodate easy adjustment, being larger than the bolts themselves;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to fully support the motor feet. Gaskets must be flawless, flat, and free of contaminants. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision (customer to provide);
8) Prepare a robust bracket for dial indicator support as illustrated below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for positioning a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge. This ensures accuracy in reading the compressor's wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines with precision, allowing a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center should sit slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft;
11) After alignment, secure the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for optimal stability;
12) Conduct a motor idling test before re-installing the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's alignment is perfected, tighten the anchor bolts to secure the setup. Post trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts for thorough stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands a clean environment. Prevent irreversible damage by ensuring that the connected pipelines are free from debris and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Install solid-liquid separation equipment if necessary.
3.3.6 Install inlet and outlet pipes securely. Ensure that all pipeline connections follow the PI diagram guidelines. Support these connections with independent brackets, avoiding any weight stress on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved full solidification, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is set for optimal performance, enhancing your industrial processes with precision.
3.3.8 For maximum efficiency and seamless integration, install the electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter proximity to the compressor. Enhance the wiring pathway by using threading pipe to securely route the connections underground. Once the electric control cabinet is expertly positioned, ensure connectivity by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, establishing a robust and reliable system.
