MVR, short for mechanical vapor recompression, is an innovative energy-saving technology designed to significantly cut down on external energy usage by harnessing the power of secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle at play here is the high-energy efficiency compression of secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, through a state-of-the-art steam compressor. This process efficiently transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Subsequently, this heated and pressurized steam is channeled back to the evaporator, where it plays a pivotal role in heating materials and inducing evaporation. This cycle effectively recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, making MVR a beacon of modern energy efficiency.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the Integrally Geared Compressor with Speed Regulation and Overall Base Design on its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a precise level adjustment.
Skillfully place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is perfectly level, reinforce the setup by spot welding these irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Remember,
the wedges should be crafted and installed by the user to suit specific conditions, with a finished contact surface ensuring even pressure distribution across the inclined plane.
Please note, the wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the unit's precise alignment. The technical specifications demand an axial level accuracy of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must be at 0.10/1000mm.
Achieving these standards is crucial for ensuring optimal compressor performance.

3.3.3 Proper alignment of the coupling is essential. Before initiating this process, make sure to adhere to the following prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield to access the components.
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Inspect the motor installation surface to confirm its cleanliness, free from debris or foreign matter.
5) Ensure the motor's bolt holes are slightly oversized relative to the bolts, allowing for easy adjustment during alignment.
6) Have an adequate supply of flat, stainless steel shims ready to support the motor's feet. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets that might skew the alignment.
7) A dial indicator or a laser alignment device with a precision of 0.01mm is required (customer to provide this equipment).
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket as illustrated below to support the dial indicator during alignment.

9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket to position the dial indicator accurately on the hub's edge, with the probe aimed at the compressor hub's outer edge.
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines to near perfection. The outer circle’s deviation must not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face tolerance is set at 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts post-alignment, then reassess the coupling's outer and end face runout for accuracy;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section after conducting a motor idling test to verify performance.
3.3.4 Once the casing's "levelness" and alignment are optimized, tighten the anchor bolts. Following a mechanical operation or test run, loosen and re-tighten these bolts to ensure unwavering stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, must remain free from solid or liquid contaminants to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Ensure that associated inlet and outlet pipelines comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Should they fall short,
it is advised to implement solid-liquid separation solutions, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, preceding the compressor's inlet straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. All pipelines should be fitted with the appropriate accessories outlined in the PI diagram. Crucially, support these pipelines with separate brackets to avoid placing undue weight on the compressor's framework.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, the stage is set for conducting the compressor's operational test. This marks a pivotal moment where precision and engineering excellence converge to ensure optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, which serves as the brain of the compressor, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Connect it with the compressor using threading pipe that travels seamlessly underground. Once the control cabinet is perfectly situated, proceed to link the wiring terminals inside the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless connection for top-tier functionality.
