Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To initiate a seamless installation, the compressor base should be meticulously placed on a well-prepared foundation. Underneath the base, strategically position wedge-shaped shims—these are crucial for achieving impeccable unit leveling. These shims ensure stability and operational excellence.
Carefully alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once you have achieved perfect leveling, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to secure them firmly. This ensures the durability and efficiency of the installation.
The wedges must be expertly crafted and installed by you, tailored to your specific needs. Ensure the contact surface is precisely finished to promote an even and effective contact on the inclined plane.
These wedges are designed with capacity limits—the weight they bear should not exceed 40Kg/cm to maintain optimal performance.

3.3.2 For optimal performance, achieving perfect leveling is paramount. The unit's axial and horizontal levels should meet rigorous standards of 0.05/1000mm and 0.10/1000mm, respectively, ensuring peak efficiency.
The precision in these measurements is key to the stable and effective operation of the unit.

3.3.3 Alignment of the coupling is a critical step. Before you commence this alignment process, ensure the following essential prerequisites are fully met:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to guarantee safety during the alignment process;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to allow access for adjustments;
3) Dismantle the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section, ensuring unobstructed access for alignment;
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane for any dirt or foreign objects, ensuring a pristine surface for attachment;
5) The motor's bolt holes should comfortably exceed the bolt size, allowing for easy loosening and precise motor adjustments;
6) Ample stainless steel gaskets should be prepared to support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be free from any attachments, exhibiting a flat surface. Avoid using overly long or slender gaskets for accurate adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter with a superior accuracy of 0.01mm for precise alignment, to be provided by the customer.
8) Prepare the specialized support bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the subsequent diagram.

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to expertly position the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, and place its probe on the outer rim of the compressor's hub.
10) Through meticulous adjustments of the bolts around the motor feet, aim to align the compressor and motor center line precisely. The motor shaft center line should ideally surpass the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with outer circle deviations capped at 0.05mm and coupling end face at 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and rigorously review the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling to ensure precision.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section to resume full operation.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment are meticulously adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical or trial operation, it's crucial to loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller thrives on precision. Any intrusion of solids or liquids can inflict irrevocable damage. Thus, ensuring the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and adhere to the steam corrosion grade of the system is vital. Any discrepancies demand prompt rectification.
Incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment—such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees—prior to the compressor's inlet straight pipe is highly recommended for optimal operation.
3.3.6 The installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes must be executed with precision, adhering to the PI diagram. These pipelines require independent support brackets and must not impose any weight on the compressor body to maintain structural integrity.
3.3.7 Following the meticulous installation of the main fan and its supporting equipment, and once the concrete has achieved full solidification, it is time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures the system's readiness and reliability. With every component securely in place, the journey to seamless operation begins.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be stationed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet requires meticulous wiring through threading pipes that run underground. Once the electric control cabinet is properly positioned, seamlessly integrate the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS). This crucial connection fosters an efficient and secure operational environment.
