The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, meticulously designed and primarily comprising sophisticated components: a compressor body (encompassing the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal), a coupling, a motor, and an advanced electric instrument. Each element is intricately crafted to ensure exceptional performance, reliability, and efficiency, perfectly aligning with the ever-evolving demands of modern industries.
3.3.1 Begin by seamlessly integrating the robust compressor base onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, a crucial step for achieving impeccable unit leveling.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in a masterful alternating arrangement. Once the unit is meticulously leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Remember,
the wedge should be custom-crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the unique situation. Ensure the contact surface is pristine, with even contact on the inclined
plane, and never exceed a hefty bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve unparalleled accuracy. The unit's leveling requirements demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
This meticulous attention ensures flawless performance.
3.3.3 Coupling Alignment: Centering Excellence. Prior to initiating alignment, adhere to the following comprehensive checklist:
1) Ensure safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for smoothness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Allow flexibility by ensuring the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt, enabling easy adjustment of motor position;
6) Stock up on sufficient stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot, ensuring they are impeccably clean and flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy, as prepared by the discerning customer;
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Achieve precise alignment by fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet. Align the compressor and motor center lines, keeping the motor shaft center line slightly elevated. Maintain a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle and 0.03~0.05mm on the coupling end face;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts meticulously, then reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for perfection;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section after a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment, fortify the 'levelness' and alignment by tightening the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, re-loosen and tighten for optimal hold.
3.3.5 With the impeller being a high-speed marvel, guard against any solid or liquid intrusion, which could inflict irreversible damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. Adding solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is highly recommended to maintain system integrity.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Refer to the PI diagram for installing essential pipeline accessories. Ensure the compressor body bears no weight from the pipelines; instead, support with a dedicated bracket.
3.3.7 With the main fan and ancillary equipment meticulously installed and the concrete fully solidified, embark on the compressor operation test to confirm superior performance.
