Meanwhile, the rotor finds its support through an advanced oil film bearing system. 3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to facilitate precise leveling of the unit.
Strategically arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once leveling is achieved, reinforce them by spot welding at 4 to 5 points.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to their specific application. Ensure the contact surfaces are finished to provide even contact on inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not surpass 40Kg/cm2..
3.3.2 Employ a level to meticulously verify the levelness. The unit's axial level should not exceed 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should maintain 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Before beginning the alignment process, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply promptly;
2) Detach the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section thoughtfully;
4) Inspect the flatness of the motor installation surface meticulously, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should be slightly larger than the bolts themselves, enabling easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. These gaskets should be pristine, free of attachments, and flat. Avoid using long or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, as provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the diagram below;
9) Employ the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, with the probe resting on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, then reassess both the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.
12) After a satisfactory motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling adjustments, tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or trial runs, loosen and retighten these bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation necessitates the utmost care; any solid or liquid ingress could irrevocably damage the compressor. Maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that comply with system steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. Installing solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet is highly recommended.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that associated pipeline accessories are fitted as per the PI diagram. Additional support brackets should bear the pipeline weight, relieving the compressor body of undue strain.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and ancillary equipment are installed, and the concrete has fully cured, proceed with the compressor operation test to ensure flawless functionality.
