The core principle involves compressing secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, using a high-efficiency steam compressor, transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. This results in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The newly risen temperature allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, effectively heating materials to generate further evaporation, thus achieving a brilliant recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, encompassing essential components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 The compressor base is strategically positioned on the foundation. To maintain optimal unit level, place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are skillfully arranged in alternating patterns.

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve perfect alignment. The unit's axial level must adhere to the stringent requirement of 0.05/1000mm, while its
horizontal level must meet the exacting standard of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Coupling alignment is crucial. Initiate the process with these essential precautions:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for thorough inspection;
4) Verify the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, ensuring it is free from any debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes are suitably larger than the bolts, facilitating easy adjustment by loosening;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to adequately support the motor's feet, ensuring they are spotless and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets between the motor and base;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, boasting an impressive accuracy of 0.01mm (customer provided);
8) Ready the specified bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through meticulous adjustment of the motor foot bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines precisely (or refer to specific instructions). The maximum permissible outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line ideally higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. Coupling end face deviation should range between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision assurance;;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section to finalize the setup.
3.3.4 Following the meticulous adjustment of both 'levelness' and alignment, securely tighten the anchor bolts. After rigorous mechanical operation or trial runs, it's prudent to loosen and re-tighten these bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds and must be safeguarded against any solid or liquid intrusion, which can inflict irreversible damage. It's critical to ensure that the pipelines connecting to the compressor are impeccably clean and comply with the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Pipelines failing this criterion require immediate rectification. It is stronglyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to uphold system integrity.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines should be equipped with necessary accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. The pipeline linked to the compressor must receive external support, as its weight should not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and all associated ancillary equipment is successfully completed, and the concrete has achieved full solidity, the compressor is ready to embark on its operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything is primed for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For optimal operational efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor needs to be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection between the compressor and this control cabinet should be meticulously achieved using threading pipe, routed underground for safety and reliability. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, it's essential to seamlessly connect its wiring terminals with the distant DCS lines to guarantee flawless communication and control.
