Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the foundation placement by positioning the compressor base integrally. Introduce wedge-shaped shims under the base to meticulously adjust the unit level.
Place the wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Achieve precise leveling of the unit, followed by strategic spot welding of the wedge-shaped irons at 4-5 critical points.
The wedge should be expertly crafted and installed by the user, adhering to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for uniform contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Achieve precision leveling using a level. The leveling requirements are stringent: the axial level should maintain 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level demands a tolerance of 0.10/1000mm.
Both parameters are crucial for optimal unit performance.

3.3.3 The coupling requires precise centering. Before initiating alignment, fulfill these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely deactivated;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section gently;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for full flatness, ensuring it is devoid of debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size, allowing easiness of bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a sufficient stock of flat, robust stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's feet. Avoid using long or thin gaskets for adjustments between motor and base;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm), procured by the customer;
8) Set up a bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;

9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Maximize alignment precision, targeting a 0.05mm deviation (motor shaft center line higher than compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and maintain a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate coupling runouts both on the outer circle and end face.;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test, ensuring seamless operation.
3.3.4 After meticulous adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, comprehensively tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts to secure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed marvel; any solid or liquid intrusion spells irreversible damage. Therefore, it is imperative that all pipelines connected to the compressor remain pristine and align with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines mandate immediate rectification.
Consider integrating solid-liquid separation mechanisms (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the straight pipe leading to the compressor inlet for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adorn import and export pipelines with accessories as per the PI diagram. Support these pipelines with external brackets, ensuring their weight is never borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment is complete, and the concrete base has fully cured, you can proceed with the compressor's operational testing. This crucial step ensures that all components are working harmoniously and sets the stage for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor needs to be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure seamless connectivity, employ threading pipe to lay underground wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet. Once the cabinet is securely positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines. This setup guarantees robust and reliable operation.
